Friends Mode

The best nights start with a dare.

You don't need a special place. You need the right people — and Steal Risk.

Two ways to play.

Local — everyone around one screen

No account, no connection needed. Enter your names, pass the phone, and start. Perfect for house parties, dinners, camping trips, travel. Questions are drawn automatically — you just focus on daring.

OfflineNo account neededUp to 10 players

Online — the room that connects you

Create a room, pick the length (10, 15 or 20 rounds), share the code and your friends join from anywhere. The round counter is always on screen, scores update live, and the match ends with a ranking card ready to share in the group chat.

OnlineReal-timeFinal ranking

What's new in online rooms.

Every match has a start, an end — and a ranking that sticks around.

01

Round counter

Round 3 of 15, always visible. Pick the match length when you create the room: short, medium or long.

02

Live scores

One number per player, updated every round. Dare and you climb; refuse and you stall.

03

Shareable final ranking

Every match ends with a ranking of who dared the most — and a card ready to drop in the group chat.

04

Friends leaderboard

Your personal leaderboard of everyone you've played with: average risk, matches played, positions that shift even when the others play without you.

How to play.

01

One player opens the app and picks Friends — then Local or an Online room

02

Everyone joins with the code (online) or enters their name (local)

03

On each turn, the proposer writes the dare, picks the cap (2 to 10) and calls a secret number

04

The others pick their own number in the same range — match the call and you're caught: the dare really happens

05

Points for doing the dare, points for the proposer who "knows you" and catches you — scores update live

06

At the end: a ranking of who dared the most, with a card to share

Friends Mode FAQ

How do I create an online room with friends?

Open Steal Risk, choose Friends → Online, tap "Create room", pick the length and share the code: your friends join in seconds from their own phones.

Can we play long distance?

Yes: in online rooms every player uses their own phone, from the same couch or from different cities. Local mode works fully offline on a single phone.

What is the Friends leaderboard?

It's your personal ranking of who dares the most: it collects everyone you've played with online and updates after every match — even when they play without you.

How long does a match last?

You choose when creating the room: 10, 15 or 20 rounds. With the round counter always on screen, you always know where you stand.
